Masi Steel

Masi bicycles are not built with steel to fill a place in your garage. They are built to fill a place in your heart.  Steel is the material used to build the first Masi in the middle of last century.

While space-age materials zoom in and out of favor with each passing season, steel refuses to bend or break under the forces of fad or fashion.  People are quick to point out steel’s perceived lack of svelte, but serious riders understand the half kilo or so a steel frame might add to the rider + bike equation means nothing.

Think about it:
The difference between a 175-pound rider on a 19-pound bike and the same rider on 23 pounds of glorious steel is less than two percent.  There is probably a formula somewhere some boffin has developed to calculate the difference but really.....who cares.   Frankly, we’d rather mash our pedals and let the rest of the world mash buttons on a calculator.
